Mud Pools, Temple & Sleeping Giant with Lunch - Departing Intercontinental Fiji, Coral Coast
Guests at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa, located on the Coral Coast south of Nadi, are positioned further from the Nadi sightseeing circuit than guests staying in Denarau or central Nadi. This tour accounts for that — departing from the Intercontinental, covering the full Nadi highlights circuit (mud pools, temple, Garden of the Sleeping Giant, markets, shopping), and returning to the Coral Coast property, with lunch included in the $139 price.
It’s the same operator (Iconic Fiji Tours) and the same circuit as several other products in the 60906 series, adapted for the Coral Coast pickup point.

What the tour covers
Sabeto Mud Pools
The geothermal site in the Sabeto Valley — warm volcanic mud pool, cool rinse pool, and natural hot spring. Apply the mud, air-dry, rinse, soak. The most physically distinctive stop on the Nadi circuit, and one of the more unusual experiences available in the Pacific. Wear swimwear under your clothes from the start of the tour.
Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple
The largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere, with a Dravidian gopuram tower painted in vivid reds, greens, and golds depicting scenes from Hindu mythology. An active place of worship maintained by Fiji’s Indo-Fijian community. Shoes off at the entrance; covered shoulders and knees required.
Garden of the Sleeping Giant
Established by American actor Raymond Burr as a private orchid collection, now one of the South Pacific’s most extensive public orchid gardens. Thousands of tropical orchid specimens — Vanda, Dendrobium, Spathoglottis — along maintained garden paths and a boardwalk into adjacent native rainforest. The garden’s name comes from the reclining silhouette of the Sabeto mountain ridge above it.
Local markets and shopping
Nadi’s market and commercial precinct — fresh produce, handicrafts, and souvenir shopping. Bring FJD cash for market purchases; the commercial shopping precinct accepts cards at most stores.
Lunch
Lunch is included in the $139 price. Confirm the format and any dietary requirements at booking — island catering for group tours typically requires advance notice for special dietary needs.
Intercontinental Fiji pickup
The Intercontinental Fiji is located on the Coral Coast south of Nadi, approximately 45 minutes from the Nadi town centre by road. The tour price reflects the extended pickup distance relative to Denarau-based departures. If staying at a nearby Coral Coast property, confirm with the operator whether pickup is available.
Practical notes
Mud pool: swimwear under clothes, towel (confirm whether provided). Wear something mud-tolerant over swimwear.
Temple: covered shoulders and knees.
What to bring: swimwear, modest clothing for temple, towel, camera, FJD cash for the market.
